Saif Said Al Sinani has served as the Director General of Planning at the Ministry of Transport, Communications & Information Technology since October 2018. With extensive expertise in public policy, strategic planning, budgeting, and financial management, he has demonstrated strong leadership in driving transformative initiatives across the transport and logistics sectors as well as in academic institutions. He excels in organizational governance, team development, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration, and serves on multiple corporate and government boards, including the National Transport Company, National Ferries Company, Civil Aviation Authority, and Oman Airports Company, where he also contributes to Audit Committees. Dr. Saif has lectured nationally and internationally in Management and Economics and has published research in both conferences and peer-reviewed international journals. He holds a BSc in Finance from Sultan Qaboos University, an MSc in Banking and Finance from Loughborough University, and a PhD in Development Policy and Management from the University of Manchester.

Essam Al Sheibany is the Vice President of Sustainability at Asyad group, Oman’s flagship logistics and supply chain group, offering end-to-end solutions from ports, free zones, maritime shipping, and last-mile express delivery. As a Sustainability VP, Essam plays a crucial role in building and maintaining all the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) activities within the group to position Asyad among the top 10 integrated logistics companies in the world; Essam is also driving the Decarbonization initiatives and facilitate the Green Hydrogen projects initiatives within the group, previously he was Group VP for QHSSE where he was taking care of health and safety of employees, contractors, and costumers, and protect the environment and recently the scope of Sustainability Development initiatives within the Group was added to his role. Al Sheibany was a member of several local and international bodies and executive committees looking into Sustainability and ESG-related topics. Essam led the implementation of a number of operational projects in Oman and internationally. As an engineer, Energy Expert, Climate Change activist, ESG champion and green business developer he has more than 30 years of experience in Oil and Gas, Project Management, HSE and many areas mainly centered on Operational Excellence.He has BSc in Engineering Management from Oman and his 2 master’s degrees from the UK in Operations Management and Advanced Process Engineering.

Yousuf Al Busaidi serves as Vice President - Legal in Asyad Group and is an Omani and English law qualified lawyer with 15+ years of experience across government, private practice, multinationals, and startups. With deep experience and expertise in infrastructure projects, Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects and energy transition, Yousuf has been instrumental to the restructuring of the electricity and water sectors, the commitment of the Sultanate to achieve net zero by 2050, and the railway project linking Oman to the UAE, the first project of its kind in the Sultanate. He has also co-founded Decree.om and Qanoon.om, which continue to be the leading online repository for accessing Omani Legislation in English and Arabic, respectively. Recognised among Oman’s leaders by the Royal Academy of Management, Yousuf is a graduate of the prestigious National CEO Programme. He also holds an MBA from Waseda University, an LLM from the University of Birmingham, and an LLB from the University of Hull. Yousuf speaks Arabic, English, and Japanese.
